TimeClock Remote shows Terminal Not connected.
1. Verify Terminal Type as Computerwise ET214 (8X40 Display) …even if you have an ET-315.
2. Verify the IP address of the Reader is correct and verify that the Port is 1070.
3. Check Connect on Startup and click Save.
4. Click Connect and you’ll see Connecting to Terminal followed by… Terminal Connected.
If it continues to indicate Terminal Not Connected, Go to the Swipe Card Reader and follow the steps below.
1. Flip the reader over to the back and unplug the power cable for 60 seconds.
2. Reconnect the power cable and flip it back over to the front to set it back to the defaults.
3. While pressing S1 and S2 at the same time, press IN.
4. Press 1 and then press Enter and then Press 7. The device will beep 3 times.
5. While pressing S1 and S2 at the same time, press OUT.
6. Press 1 and then press Enter and then Press 7. The device will beep 3 times and display OFFLINE.
7. Open TimeClock Remote again and verify correct entries.
8. Check Connect on Startup and click Save.
9. Click Connect and you’ll see Connecting to Terminal followed by… Terminal Connected.
--NOTE-- If TimeClock Remote continues to indicate Terminal Not Connected, do the following:
Flip the reader over to the back and unplug the power cable for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable and flip it back over to the front to set it back to the defaults.
- While pressing S1 and S2 at the same time, press IN.
- Press 1 and then press 7.
- Press Enter and then Press 7. The device will beep 3 times.
- While pressing S1 and S2 at the same time, press OUT.
- Press 1 and then press 7.
- Press Enter and then Press 7. The device will beep 3 times.
- Open TimeClock Remote again and verify correct entries.
- Check Connect on Startup and click Save.
- Click Connect and you’ll see Connecting to Terminal followed by… Terminal Connected.
