--NOTE-- This is a complex process so take your time and follow the steps precisely and please heed all the warnings.
--CAUTION!-- You may find that you are not willing to implement these steps so please read the guide first before you begin!
1. Perform a backup! If things go badly, you'll want to restore the data back to the way it is now.
2. Go to Settings > Time-Off Plan. The Time-Off plans assigned to the employee(s) for all of the Absence Categories must be set under the heading of Each new year starts on to: The Fiscal date set at Global Settings > Attendance
3. Click Settings > Global Settings > Attendance. Your fiscal year setting must be set to the starting date of your reporting date range.
4. On the right set your Accrual Schedule to Do not allow Time-Off to accrue. Then click Save > OK > Close.
--CAUTION!-- Step 5 could adversely affect other software! Make sure you have backed up your data before proceeding!
5. Set your computer's date setting to the starting date of your reporting date range just long enough to run the report.
6. In Gradience Attendance, select the appropriate employees or departments and click Reports > Employee Balance.
7. Select Year To Date and set the filters ( the checkboxes located below where you selected Year To Date ) as you see fit.
8. Click Preview.
9. When the report opens, if you are satisfied with how it looks, you can save it as a PDF.
10. Click Settings > Time-Off Plans and select the first plan listed and click Detail.
11. Reset your selection under Each new year starts on to whatever it was set to previously and click Save.
12. Click Settings > Time-Off Plans and select the sick time plan and click Detail.
13. Reset your selection under Each new year starts on to whatever it was set to previously and click Save > OK > Close.
--CAUTION!-- DO NOT reset the Accrual Schedule over on the right yet!
14. Reset your computer's date to the current date.
15. Click Settings > Global Settings > Attendance. On the right reset your Accrual Schedule to the way you had it set previously. Then click Save > OK > Close.
